A Golf Heritage
In 1963, John D. McArthur was put in charge of designing a world-class golf headquarters by PGA of America. BallenIsles, before it became what it is today, was actually grounds for the PGA for 10 years. BallenIsles has hosted several major golfing events, such as the World Cup Championship, PGA Championship and the PGA Senior Championships.
